History
The President and Founder of CTC, Renee Barnes, has been in the information technology arena since 1990 when she began programming. Her career as a Technical Writer began in early 1997. Since then, Renee has completed technical documentation projects for companies such as IBM, Lucent Technologies, BellSouth, Coca-Cola, Home Depot, StorageTek, and SunTrust Bank. She has gained valuable industry knowledge throughout the years, and the ability to work on various types of projects.
Mrs. Barnes' mix of technical and writing skills gives her a competitive edge over the competition. Her expertise has placed her skills in demand by various companies and organizations, from start-up firms to fortune 500 companies. She is a member of The Society of Technical Communicators. Renee Barnes founded Creativity Technical Communications in the summer of 2000 as a way to provide quality documentation services for companies at the guaranteed lowest prices. She will work directly on every project that CTC accepts, and will utilize additional skilled writers whenever the projects dictate. Renee has also developed the capability to staff companies' documentation teams.
